The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche is now offering a regular Seven Sorrows of Mary devotion, inviting the faithful into a deeper reflection on the Blessed Mother’s suffering and faith.

Held Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m., the devotion includes a guided walking prayer and meditation across the sacred grounds of Mission Nombre de Dios. Participants reflect on the seven moments of sorrow in Mary’s life, from the prophecy of Simeon to the burial of Jesus.

Hosted by the Confraternity of Our Lady of La Leche and the Sons of Our Lady, the gatherings provide an opportunity for prayer, contemplation and spiritual renewal in a setting rooted in the earliest history of the Catholic faith in the United States.

All are welcome to attend and unite their prayers with Mary, who remained faithful at the foot of the cross.
