Bishop Erik Pohlmeier blessed Bishop Kenny High School's new gymnasium complex during a dedication ceremony March 18.

The complex includes a practice gym, two classrooms, a multipurpose room for the school's dance team, spirit and cheer squads – as well as AP testing – and new varsity locker rooms, all connected to the existing main gym.

Three years in the making, the project is the latest in a series of campus improvements, including classroom renovations over the past eight years.

"We'll celebrate 75 years of service next year with an entirely renovated campus, along with 40,000 square feet of new facilities," principal Todd Orlando said. "It's all about making sure students have the resources and facilities they need for success in the next 75 years."
