Carmelite Father Jose Panthaplamthottiyil, pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Palm Coast, was named the 2026 Florida Knights of Columbus Chaplain of the Year. He received the Blessed Michael J. McGivney Award following Mass at the parish on May 31.

One of the Florida State Council’s highest honors for a priest, the award recognizes a chaplain who exemplifies the faith, charity and pastoral leadership of Blessed Michael J. McGivney through dedicated service to the People of God.

District Deputy Greg Gully and Mother Seton Council Grand Knight Joseph Paul presented the award during the parish ceremony.
